How much an airport transfer costs

The price is fixed before you travel and does not change on the way. There is no meter and no surcharge for waiting on a delayed flight.

Getting from the airport to the coast without a car

There is no direct train from Venice, Trieste or Ljubljana airports to the Slovenian coast. Buses involve changes and take 4–6 hours instead of an hour and a half. A rental car means a vignette and parking, which barely exists in the old towns.

A transfer takes you door to door. The driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a sign, tracks your flight number and waits if the plane is late.

How the price works

The price is made up of a pickup fee and mileage. The per-kilometre rate drops on longer trips.
