How long does a day trip to Lake Bled take?+

Usually 8–11 hours: morning departure, a boat ride to the island, the castle, a walk around the lake, and back by evening.

What's the difference between a group and a private tour?+

A group tour means up to 7 fellow travelers, priced per seat. A private tour gives you a dedicated minivan, with flexible departure time and a customizable itinerary.

Where is the pick-up point for the Bled tour?+

From Koper, Škofije, or Ljubljana — right at your hotel or accommodation address, arranged with your manager the evening before.

Are there borders between Slovenia, Italy and Croatia?+

There are no border checks: all three countries are in the Schengen area and use the euro. In one day you can visit Koper, Trieste and Motovun in Istria. Carry your passport or ID card — random checks do happen.

What currency is used and are cards accepted?+

The euro in both countries. Cards are accepted almost everywhere: hotels, restaurants, petrol stations. Cash is handy at markets, in small taverns and for tips.

When is the best time to visit?+

Peak season is June–August: warm sea and all routes open, but heat and crowds, especially in Venice. May–June and September bring pleasant weather, fewer people and fair prices. In winter you can ski in the Julian Alps.

How much do tours cost?+

Group tours cost about €45–120 per person, private guided walks from €160 per group, depending on the route and duration. Private tours and trips to several countries in one day cost more. With Adrialio you pay a 20% deposit and the rest to the guide on the day.

Is a deposit required?+

Yes, 20% of the price. It confirms your booking and secures your places; the remaining 80% is paid to the guide on the day. We send the payment details after confirming the booking, which takes no more than an hour. Cancel at least 48 hours ahead for a full refund.
