What are you in the mood for today?
Most of the region’s popular routes depart from Koper, Škofije, Ljubljana. Departures are usually early, between 8:00 and 9:00, with pickup at your hotel or an agreed meeting point in the centre. You are back in the evening, around 18:00–19:00.
First time in the region? Go for the classic — Venice with St Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge. It is where everyone starts.
Into food and wine? A wine day in Istria: truffle and olive oil tasting at a family farm, evening in Venetian-style Rovinj.
Travelling with children? Postojna Cave with its underground train and Lake Bled with a pletna boat ride — kids love it, adults too.
Need some peace after the cities? The Vipava Valley: Slovenian vineyards at the foot of the Alps and unhurried tastings.
Group tours start from €35 per person. Private and cross-border tours cost more but offer more. Book via WhatsApp or Telegram — we confirm within an hour. 20% deposit, the remaining 80% is paid to the guide on the day. Cancel 48 hours ahead and we refund the deposit.
Passport or ID card, some cash in euros (cards are accepted almost everywhere, but markets prefer cash), water and a hat. The mountains are cooler than the coast, so bring a layer. Warm clothes are a must for caves: it is around 10 °C inside all year.
Reviews from people who've been there
We booked a Venice tour. Guide Marco was fantastic — kept us entertained the whole way. Saw all the highlights in one day. The kids were thrilled!
Booked online in the evening, we were on our way by morning. A small deposit upfront, the rest paid to the guide on the spot. Honest and straightforward — highly recommend.
Miramare Castle — just what you need after a packed day. Perfectly organised, picked us up from the hotel right on time. Thank you!

The geography here does something unusual: three countries fit into one day. Trieste is twenty minutes from the Slovenian coast, Venice about two hours, Croatian Istria half an hour. You cross the borders without stopping — all three are in Schengen and use the euro. That is why almost everything on this page is a day trip: you stay in one town and drive out to a different country each morning.
Trips fall into three kinds. Cities — Venice, Trieste, Ljubljana, Piran: walking, architecture, a guide who explains what you are looking at. Nature — Lake Bled, the Postojna Cave, the Soča valley, the Julian Alps: more driving, less walking, and the best photographs. Food and wine — the Vipava valley, Istrian truffles, the Prosecco hills: tastings with a driver, so nobody has to stay sober.
Groups are capped at ten people. That is not a marketing line but a practical limit: a minibus of that size can park in places a coach cannot, and in Piran it matters — cars are not allowed into the old town at all.
If you would rather set your own pace, look at boat rental or book a private transfer and go on your own. Prices and starting points for each town are listed under destinations.
English is available on every route. German, Italian and Slovenian on most of them, but a guide for a specific date has to be confirmed in advance. State the language when you book.
Yes. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure, with the deposit refunded in full. Later than that, the 20% deposit is kept. If we cancel because of weather, you get everything back.
From Koper, Piran, Portorož and Izola we collect you at your hotel or the nearest point a vehicle can reach. In Piran that is the Fornače car park — cars cannot enter the old town. Give us the address when booking.
