An island with a church in the middle of the lake and a castle on a rock — Slovenia’s postcard. From above, Bled looks even more magical: the whole lake at once, the Julian Alps and neighbouring Bohinj.

Where the flight starts

Flights over Bled are run by the aero club in Lesce, close to the lake. The short route circles Lake Bled (about 15 minutes); the long one adds Bohinj and Triglav National Park (about 30 minutes).

When to fly

Best on a clear morning or evening when the air is transparent. Autumn and winter give the sharpest views of snowy peaks. In low cloud the flight is moved at no extra cost.

How to book

Pick a route in our scenic flights section and send a request with your date — we confirm a slot with the club. Flights are also available as gift vouchers.
