10–15 minutes — Piran and Strunjan, or Piran, Izola and Koper. 20–30 minutes — Umag, Novigrad and Buje, the Gulf of Trieste to Miramare Castle, Istria to Motovun. 45–60 minutes — Lipica and the Škocjan Caves, Vrsar and the Lim Channel, Brijuni.
